There are times when one wishes a greater knowledge of world languages other than by relying on a Google translate. Which must be akin to Yokan System's feeling with regards to English translation of their native Japanese:
Yokan System is the pop/rock band that consists of Mai who has picked up from people's voices inside their hearts and Tsukasa who has convert people's voices inside their hearts into new sounds.Yokan System will approve (Yes) of the girls who have the spirit of inquiry and the boys who have highly sensitive acumen.
We partly get the gist of the above, taken from their Facebook ... we think. Suffice it to say that the Tokyo duo which is Yokan System (originally from the Hokkaido island. north of Japan), have signed to Ample Play to release their first single, 'A Dream You Never Wake Up From'. The pair, who formed early last year, already have two EPs planned for next year, plus European live shows in February, we'll be hearing and learning more about Yokan System. ('Yokan, by the way, means 'gut feeling' in Japanese.)
'A Dream You Never Wake Up From' is out at the end of November.
